My name is Redd. I am a graphic designer based in Auckland, New Zealand. I create ebooks, logos, infographics and other types of branded content. But that’s just what I do. Let me tell you who I am.
A good, well-communicated brand story is the only “unique selling position” that matters in marketing. Without a story, you’re just another one of the thousands of businesses that your customers come into contact with every single day. The good brand stories---the ones that last, that make an impact---are the ones that stand out.
As the digital space evolves, people are experiencing content in a hundred different ways. Blogs, images, social media, logos, whitepapers, ebooks, case studies; just to name a few. It’s a tidal wave of content---and all too often, this tidal wave doesn’t effectively communicate brand stories.
Rather than inviting people in with cool, calm and clear content, brands are smashing them with assets that don’t connect. That’s why I do things differently.
Through a combination of design principles and artistic techniques, every piece of graphic design I create is designed to do one thing before anything else: deliver a story that sticks.
To do that, I draw on the single factor that defines a good story from a great one: emotion. Over the years, I’ve learned to embrace the feelings inherent in visuals. Each part of my personal art portfolio represents a chapter of my life---a lesson I’ve learned, an epiphany I’ve had, a struggle I’ve overcome.
I take that same passion and drive to the brand stories of my clients as well. My work reflects the heart of your brand; who you are, what you stand for, and why customers should care.
Through this authenticity, my visuals cut through the noise of the digital world.
Forget cut-and-dried branding. Forget the works of the past. It’s time to expand your horizons---whether that’s through a slick ebook template or an inspiring piece of branded art. My purpose here is to help you do it.
